  1. Are there any genealogical societies for the Helton and Miller families of Breathett County. I am trying to do the research on my ancestors, and these are the toughest ones to locate so far! There are a lot of Heltons and Millers out there, but my great-grandparents are proving tough to find. Please feel free to contact me if you have any information you could share that would put me in the right direction.

  3. My gggrandparents were John Solomon and Eliz Chetty Solomon were from Grainger County, Ky. Their son, Sherrod Solomon, moved to Missouri (year?) Sherrod Solomon married in Lewis County, Mo in 1843. My question is Do you know why they would move to Missouri (better land? better opportunities? etc) I believe my family were poor dirt farmers and that might be the reason they’re hard to find in records. Any help you could give would be appreciated
