Will of Robert Anderson, 1812

In the name of God Amen
I Robert Anderson of Muhlenberg Co. and State of Kentucky, being in
perfect health and sound mind blessed be to God for the same, do make and
publish this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows that
is to say;

First I give and bequeath to my daughter, Ann Dobyns and her
children, one negro woman named Edy and one negro girl named Leady, one
negro boy named Henry and one named Samuel.

I do give and bequeath to my son Thomas Anderson one old negro Job,
one negro man named Ned, one negro boy named Woodson, and one negro woman
named Aggy with her increase, and one hundred acres of land where I now live
with all my farming utensils and stock of all kinds and household goods.

I do give to my daughter Martha Morris, one negro woman named Amy
with all her increase she may have and one negro boy named Issick in his and
her heirs forever. and if said Martha Morris dies without issue said negros
that I now leave to said Martha, is to be equally divided among the rest of
my children that is ,Thomas Anderson, and Ann Dobyns and their heirs

I also give and bequeath to my daughter Franky one dollar cash. I also
bequeath to my Grandson Robert Littlepage one negro woman named Silvey and
one negro boy named Jack to him and his heirs forever.

I do also appoint my son Thomas, and Amos Jenkins to be my whole and
sole excutors of this my last will and testament thereby revoking all former
wills made by me.

In witness whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this 28th day of
April 1812.

The within last will and testament of Robert Anderson dec'd was exhibited
into court by Thos. Anderson one of the executors therein named and proved
by the oath of Chas. F. Wing, a subscribing witness thereto Robt. Elder one
of the subscribing witness thereto having departed this life. Thompson Micah
Wells came into court and proved the hand writting of said Elder and
thereupon the said will is ordered to be recorded
